Along the mountain road behind the gate of Guanyin Zen Temple, we will encounter an old Taoist who will enlighten our gourd, allowing it to regain the spirit of monsters and gain the ability of demon skills.
If the player has already finished defeating the ghost before encountering the old Taoist, but cannot absorb the spirit due to the lack of refinement of the gourd, they can return to the save point, choose to collect and retrieve the spirit.
After further exploration, we will find that the little monsters in this scene are very different from the previous scene. They are mainly snake bone spirits and snake demons, with poison attribute damage, strong attack desire, and are very difficult to deal with.
Following the main road all the way, we will arrive at the bottom of the valley. In the left side of the boulder heap, there is a small path that leads to our next boss point – the location of Guangmou. If the player clicks on the previous stick flower skill, it can easily neutralize his tracking ball skill because these projectiles can be intercepted by the stick flower.
After defeating it, we explored around and found a small uphill slope with a big bell at the end, which was the second bell in this level.
Then, following the mountain path on the right side of the boss scene, we come all the way down to a cliff plank road. We will find a monkey named Shen being surrounded by other monsters. We will rescue him here. To express our gratitude for saving our lives, he is willing to help us improve the quality of wine and gourds in the future (equivalent to increasing the recovery amount and drinking frequency of blood medicine). This is the only place in the game where we can strengthen the recovery medicine, and we can come here to find him in the future.
Continuing down the cliff plank road, we arrived at a lake where he claimed to be a scholar in white clothes and advised us to stop killing quickly. Turning around, we were on the shore. Unfortunately, anyone who blocked my path would become a dead soul under the sword!
This boss has a total of two lives, and the second life is faster and has more attack combos compared to the first life. We can reserve all the blue required for the fixed body technique for the second stage. Please refer to the detailed guide on this website for more information.
After defeating the White clothed Scholar, we can proceed to the Black Wind Cave through the cave behind him, but don’t worry for now!
On the left side of the boss scene, there is a small path that leads to the last big bell of this level. After ringing it, you can reach the hidden level of this official: Yin Guanyin Zen Temple.
There are some little demons guarding in front of this last bell. If the player has no medicine in their hand, they can use their divine power to defeat them, or use the contraction symbol to return to the previous save point, replenish their state, and then ring the bell.
